Rebecca Northan
Rebecca Northan is a versatile Canadian actress, improviser, theatre director, and creative talent, celebrated for her dynamic performances. She gained widespread recognition for her role as the free-spirited mother, Diane Macleod, in the acclaimed sitcom *Alice, I Think*, broadcast on CTV and The Comedy Network. With a rich background in improvisation, Northan was nominated for a Gemini Award in 2004 for "Best Ensemble in a Comedy" for her work on *The Joe Blow Show*. Acknowledged for her improvisational skills, she has received five nominations for the Canadian Comedy Award in the "Best Female Improviser" category.
Northan is a proud graduate of the University of Calgary and honed her improv skills at the esteemed Loose Moose Theatre Company under the guidance of Keith Johnstone. Her impressive career includes notable performances at the Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival and a stint with The Second City Toronto, where she was part of the mainstage cast in *Good's Good, Evil's Bad*.
