Chuck Norris
Carlos Ray "Chuck" Norris, born on March 10, 1940, is a prominent American martial artist and actor. Following his service in the United States Air Force, he gained recognition as a martial artist and established his own martial arts discipline, Chun Kuk Do. In 2005, Norris became the subject of an online phenomenon known as "Chuck Norris facts," where humorous and exaggerated claims about his strength and abilities circulated widely.
He is well-known for his roles in various action films, including "Way of the Dragon," where he famously starred alongside Bruce Lee, and he was the marquee star for The Cannon Group during the 1980s. From 1993 to 2001, Norris starred in the hit television series "Walker, Texas Ranger," which solidified his status as a cultural icon.
Norris is also a committed Christian and leans towards conservative political views. He has authored several books focused on Christianity and has actively supported numerous Republican candidates and initiatives.
