Suliane Brahim

Suliane Brahim, born on April 1, 1978, is a talented French actress known for her versatile performances across theatre, film, and television. Hailing from Chartres, France, she grew up as the eldest of three siblings in Bourges, raised by a Moroccan father and a Breton mother. Initially aspiring for a humanitarian career, she studied Swahili at the Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales, but her passion for acting led her to the École nationale supérieure des arts et techniques du théâtre.

Brahim made her theatrical debut in 1996 and quickly established herself as a prominent figure in the world of French theatre. She became a boarder and later a member of the prestigious Comédie-Française, showcasing her talent in notable productions such as Peer Gynt, Dom Juan, Lucrezia Borgia, and Romeo and Juliet.

Her transition to screen acting began in 2013, and she gained significant recognition for her role as Major Laurène Weiss in the acclaimed thriller series Zone Blanche (Black Spot) in 2017. In 2020, she starred as Virginie in the film The Swarm (French: La Nuée).
