Danièle Gaubert
Danièle Gaubert, born on August 9, 1943, in Nuars, France, was a notable actress whose career spanned several countries and genres. She was discovered at the young age of 16 by Claude Autant-Lara, who cast her in the film *Les régates de San Francisco*. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of her acting journey, leading her to feature in various European productions, including *Flight from Ashiya* (1964), *The Golden Claws of the Cat Girl* (1968), *Camille 2000* (1969), and *Underground* (1970).
In 1963, she married Radhamés Trujillo Martínez, the son of the Dominican Republic's infamous dictator Rafael Trujillo. However, their union ended in divorce just five years later.
Gaubert's personal life took a turn when she met skiing champion Jean-Claude Killy during the filming of her final movie, *Snow Job*. They wed in 1972, after which she chose to step away from the entertainment industry to focus on family life, eventually welcoming a daughter. Tragically, Gaubert's life was cut short when she passed away from cancer on November 4, 1987, at the age of 44, leaving behind a legacy as a talented actress who made her mark in international cinema.
