Amelia Conway
Amelia Elizabeth Conway, born on October 1, 1987, in Wahroonga, New South Wales, hails from a multicultural background with British and Australian heritage. Her mother, Edwina Conway, was a model, while her father, Tony Conway, made a name for himself in electrical construction after relocating to Australia at the age of 18. Amelia grew up in a family of four, including two older sisters and a younger brother, though she never had the chance to know her eldest sister, who passed away from SIDS.
Amelia attended Turramurra Public School before transferring to Pymble Ladies College (PLC) where she developed a passion for the performing arts, participating in various plays, musicals, and dance competitions. Upon completing her HSC in 2005, she chose to focus on fashion design, earning a Bachelor of Fashion Design from the University of Technology, Sydney in 2009. Amelia spent several years in the fashion industry, including a notable role as a graphic textile designer for the Australian activewear brand Running Bare, before shifting her focus to psychology with a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) degree from Swinburne University in 2018.
Her acting career took off with her role as Laura in the film *Bad Influence*, followed by a comedic performance as Louise in *Friends & Strangers*. Since 2018, Amelia has devoted herself entirely to acting, gaining experience in commercials and indie films, both in Sydney and Los Angeles. She has honed her skills in various accents and improvisation through training with industry professionals. As a writer and director, she created the comedy web series *Roller Coaster Testers*, slated for release in late 2022. Despite entering the acting scene later than many, Amelia is recognized for her dedication and work ethic, with her talent and potential promising even greater opportunities ahead.
