Tsung Hua, born Zhou Zhong-Zhi on April 2, 1944, hails from Shantung Province, China. With a profound passion for cinema, he embarked on his film career after completing his college education, joining the renowned Shaw Brothers Studio, where he secured an acting contract almost immediately. Tsung Hua is celebrated for his roles in several iconic films, including "The Bastard," "The Killer," "Sorrow of the Gentry," and "Killer Clans." Notably, "Killer Clans" is regarded as a hallmark of director Chu Yuan's legacy, featuring prominent actors such as Ching Li and Yueh Hua.
As the 1980s approached, Tsung Hua began to transition away from acting, shifting his focus towards directing and producing television series. His contributions to the small screen are particularly noteworthy, with significant involvement in the production of "Yang Gui Gei," which spans 30 episodes, and "Hsi Shih," comprising 40 episodes.
