Jim Duggan

James Edward Duggan, Jr., widely recognized as "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, is a prominent American professional wrestler currently under a WWE Legends contract. Known for his patriotic persona, he famously wields a 2x4 and rallies crowds with his signature battle cry of "Hooo!" and the USA chant. Throughout his extensive career, Duggan has showcased his talents in all 50 states and numerous countries, including Canada, Japan, and several European nations.

Duggan made history in 1988 by winning the inaugural WWF Royal Rumble, a milestone that solidified his status in the wrestling world. He is also a cancer survivor, having bravely faced kidney cancer, which was diagnosed during the early stages of his career. Following successful surgery and early detection, he returned to the ring in April 1999 after a brief hiatus.

In a notable incident in 1987, Duggan and fellow wrestler Iron Sheik were arrested by New Jersey State Police, leading to a scandal that impacted their wrestling storylines. Despite this setback, Duggan maintained a resilient presence in the industry.

Beyond the ring, he shares a family life with his wife Debra and their two daughters, Celia and Rebecca. Duggan is also friends with Willie Robertson of Duck Commander fame. In 2013, he launched an IndieGoGo campaign to fund surgery for a torn rotator cuff, demonstrating his commitment to overcoming physical challenges while continuing to engage with his fans.
