Scott Marshall

Scott Marshall, born on January 17, 1969, in Los Angeles, California, is a distinguished American film director with a rich legacy in the entertainment industry. He is the son of renowned director and producer Garry Marshall and nurse Barbara Wells, and he is famously related to Penny Marshall, a prominent figure in film and television. Growing up in an artistic household, Scott was inspired by his family's creative pursuits. His father fondly recalls Scott's childhood filmmaking antics, which included setting a model airplane ablaze and capturing the dramatic moment on camera.

Scott honed his skills in film directing at the AFI Conservatory, where he created the short film "Waving Not Drowning," which was showcased at the AFI/Los Angeles Film Festival, marking an early highlight in his career.
