Ptosha Storey is an accomplished American actress and stage director, celebrated for her captivating performances on both television and stage. She gained significant recognition for her portrayal of Nancy Hallsen in the BET prime time soap opera *The Oval* and as Naya Benedict in the CBS daytime series *The Young and the Restless*.

Storey began her acting journey in the 1990s, marking her television debut with a supporting role in the 1996 film *The Road to Galveston*, which featured the legendary Cicely Tyson. She expanded her presence with guest spots on popular shows such as *Wishbone*, *Strong Medicine*, and *Numb3rs*. Her theatrical achievements include a memorable performance as Ruth Younger in *A Raisin in the Sun*, showcasing her talent on stage. Additionally, she has contributed as an assistant director to notable productions like *The Mountaintop*, *The Color Purple*, *Don't Bother Me, I Can't Cope*, and *Ain't Misbehavin'*.
