Jess Chanliau is an accomplished American-French actor, movement artist, and singer, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Acting from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) in Glasgow, UK. Their cinematic debut came with the lead role of Stone in the feature film "Patients of a Saint," known as "Inmate Zero" in the UK, which premiered in Malaysia on December 5, 2019, followed by a global release on January 3, 2020.

In August 2018, Jess showcased their versatility by co-starring in the play "South Bend" at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where they impressively portrayed over 20 characters. The production enjoyed a successful tour across Scotland shortly thereafter, earning rave reviews for its dynamic performances.

Originally from the United States, Jess spent part of their formative years in Paris, where they attended French collège and lycée, along with classes at the prestigious Cours Florent. They returned to the U.S. for their final high school year in California, enrolling in the Marin School of the Arts’ performing arts program. After graduating, Jess furthered their education at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Santa Maria before completing their training at RCS, which included a semester at the Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique in Paris.

A passionate advocate for movement, Jess has embraced various techniques including Lecoq, Viewpoints, Laban, Grotowski, Feldenkrais, Yoga, and Acrobatics. In the UK, they are represented by Burnett Crowther Ltd, led by Lizanne Crowther, and are actively seeking opportunities and representation in both the USA and France.
