Andrew W. "Andy" Sidaris (February 20, 1931 – March 7, 2007) was a multifaceted American filmmaker, director, producer, actor, and screenwriter, celebrated for his distinctive contributions to the realm of entertainment. Sidaris became widely recognized for his cult classic series, often referred to as Bullets, Bombs, and Babes (or BBB), which spanned from 1985 to 1998. This collection of B-movies showcased a recurring ensemble of actors, predominantly featuring Playboy Playmates and Penthouse Pets, including the likes of Julie Strain, Dona Speir, and Roberta Vasquez. Many of these films were shot in Shreveport, Louisiana, incorporating local talent into the mix.

Before establishing his reputation in cinema, Sidaris was a trailblazer in sports television, directing extensive coverage for numerous football and basketball games, as well as Olympic events. His tenure as the first director for ABC's Wide World of Sports lasted 25 years, during which he garnered seven Emmy Awards, including one for his work at the 1969 Summer Olympics. Sidaris is credited with introducing the "honey shot," which highlighted cheerleaders and attractive spectators in sporting events.

He later focused on action films, creating works like Fit to Kill and Savage Beach, often featuring thrilling escapades of secret agents. Partnering with his wife, Arlene T.
