Jimmy McCulloch
James McCulloch, born on June 4, 1953, was a celebrated Scottish musician recognized for his exceptional skills on both lead guitar and bass. He gained prominence as a member of Wings, the renowned band formed by Paul McCartney, where he contributed from 1974 until 1977. McCulloch’s musical journey began in Glasgow, where he initially played with the psychedelic group One in a Million, which had previously been known as the Jaygars. His talent also led him to join Thunderclap Newman, a band that enjoyed success during the late 1960s, and Stone the Crows, further showcasing his versatility and depth as a musician.
Despite his promising career, McCulloch's life was tragically cut short when he passed away on September 27, 1979, at the young age of 26.
