Johannes Nussbaum

Johannes Nussbaum’s journey into the world of acting began in the vibrant setting of his elementary school theater in Mödling. Encouraged by the theater group's director, he took a significant step and auditioned for the prestigious Eva Roth Casting agency in Vienna, renowned for representing young talent and amateur actors. His efforts paid off, as he successfully secured a role in Ulrich Seidl's film *Import Export*, which was shot between 2005 and 2006 and released in May 2007. This marked Nussbaum's film debut at just nine years old, where he shared the screen with esteemed actors Maria Hofstätter and Petra Morzé.

His casting was particularly impressive, as he was chosen from a pool of several hundred children, showcasing his potential and talent at such a young age.
