Faye Yvette McQueen hails from Jamaica, New York, where her passion for the performing arts began at a young age. She received her early education in a Catholic school and immersed herself in dance, studying at prestigious institutions like the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and the Martha Graham Contemporary Dance School. At just 12, she showcased her entrepreneurial spirit by establishing her own dance school in her community.

Faye’s dance journey continued as she performed with renowned groups such as The New York Broadway Dancing Cheerleaders, the Liberation Ensemble, and the Inspiration Dance Company. She pursued higher education at Goucher College in Towson, Maryland, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Education with a minor in Spanish in 1979. Furthering her studies, she attended Southern Methodist University, obtaining a Master’s degree in Dance in 1984, during which time she also performed with the Dallas Black Dance Theater.

In 1988, she founded The Dancer's Warehouse, Inc., a non-profit dance school based in Atlanta, Georgia, where she serves as the Artistic Director. Each summer, she travels to Tuscany, Italy, to perform with the dance collective ProDanza Italia/USA.

In addition to her dance career, Faye ventured into acting in 1988 and developed skills as a stuntwoman, receiving training from John Zimmerman's Stunt Camp and Rick Seaman's Hollywood Stunt Driving School. She has appeared as a stunt performer in projects such as "Purge 4: The Island," "Orange Is the New Black," and "Luke Cage."
