**Frederick Keeve: A Multifaceted Creative Talent**

Frederick Keeve's passion for writing and filmmaking has been a constant throughout his life, beginning with his first short story, *The Lost Island*, which was published in a limited edition when he was just in sixth grade. Growing up in Santa Monica alongside his brother, Douglas Keeve, a writer and director based in New York, Frederick's creative journey commenced at an early age. At 10, he began making films, and his inaugural project, *Maxine Waters EPC*, was a documentary featuring Edward Alan Young. This film, which explored an employment preparation center in South Central Los Angeles, captured the attention of hundreds of thousands of viewers on KCET public television.

Keeve gained critical acclaim for producing, writing, directing, and composing the score for *From Russia to Hollywood: The 100-Year Odyssey of Chekhov and Shdanoff*. The documentary showcased a star-studded cast, including Gregory Peck in his final role, and received praise from industry publications like *Variety* after closing the Hollywood Film Festival.

In addition to his film work, Keeve has adapted screenplays from bestselling novels by notable authors, including Edgar Award winner T. Jefferson Parker and Pulitzer-nominated Bill Granger. He has collaborated with industry veterans on various independent features, managing budgets between $2.5 million and $20 million. As a musician, he wrote the book, music, and lyrics for the original musical *Three: Songs from the Heart*, which was performed in Los Angeles with impressive talent. Recently, he has coordinated two road shows for aspiring actors, engaging Hollywood casting directors and agents in Salt Lake City.
