Laura Schein
Laura Schein is a multifaceted actor and writer based in Los Angeles, California. She is best known for her remarkable work as the co-creator and leading performer of the celebrated musical Emojiland, which premiered off-Broadway at The Duke On 42nd Street in January 2020. This production garnered significant acclaim, receiving recognition as a New York Times Critics Pick and earning nominations for prestigious awards, including the Richard Rodgers Award, Drama Desk, Lucille Lortel, Outer Critics Circle, and Off-Broadway Alliance.
Schein showcased her vocal talents in the animated film UglyDolls, where she not only lent her voice to various characters but also co-wrote the duet "Unbreakable," performed by Kelly Clarkson and Janelle Monáe, which was shortlisted for the 2020 Academy Awards.
