Chloe Traicos

Chloe Traicos, born and raised in Zimbabwe, is an accomplished filmmaker known for her bold storytelling and advocacy for human rights. The daughter of renowned international cricketer John Traicos and artist Annette Kileff, Chloe was deeply influenced by her diverse upbringing. Her life took a dramatic turn in 2005 when she created a provocative documentary titled "A Stranger in My Homeland," which critiqued the oppressive regime of Zimbabwe's leader Robert Mugabe. This film, which highlighted the struggles of the Zimbabwean people facing persecution and starvation, garnered international acclaim and earned numerous awards, despite forcing Chloe to leave her home country.

After relocating to Australia with her family, Chloe continued to make her mark in the film industry. She produced the indie feature "I Wish I Were Stephanie V," which premiered at the New York City International Film Festival in 2011, notably being screened in Times Square. This film further solidified her reputation as a significant voice in independent cinema.
