Lysette Anthony
Lysette Anne Chodzko, widely recognized as Lysette Anthony, is an accomplished English actress and model, celebrated for her diverse roles across film and television. Born on September 26, 1963, in Marylebone, London, she is the only child of actor Michael Adam Anthony and actress Bernadette Milnes. Following their divorce, Anthony faced a challenging upbringing marked by her mother's struggles with manic depression and schizophrenia, prompting her to leave home at the age of 19.
In 1980, at just 16 years old, Anthony captured the spotlight as the "Face of the Eighties," thanks to renowned photographer David Bailey. Transitioning from modeling to acting, she made her film debut in the 1983 fantasy adventure Krull, portraying the character of Princess Lyssa. This role set the stage for her subsequent performances in notable films such as Husbands and Wives (1992), Dracula: Dead and Loving It (1995), and Tale of the Mummy (1998).
On television, Anthony has made her mark in various series, including the ITV comedy-drama Auf Wiedersehen, Pet (1983) and the BBC sitcom Three Up, Two Down (1985-1989). More recently, she played Marnie Nightingale in the popular Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks from 2016 to 2022.
