Michele Dominguez Greene, born on February 3, 1962, in Las Vegas, Nevada, is a multifaceted American actress, singer, and songwriter, best recognized for her portrayal of attorney Abigail "Abby" Perkins on the acclaimed legal drama L.A. Law, which aired from 1986 to 1991. Her performance earned her critical acclaim, including a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Emmys. Greene reprised her iconic role in the 2002 reunion film, L.A. Law: The Movie.

Her journey into acting began in high school, where she enrolled in a drama class to combat her shyness. This experience sparked her passion for performance, leading her to the University of Southern California, where she pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree on a scholarship. During her college years, she built her resume with various guest appearances and television movies.

Greene's early career included a role as Judy Nuckles in the short-lived series Bay City Blues, created by Steven Bochco, who later cast her as Abby Perkins in L.A. Law. Beyond acting, she has explored her musical talents, releasing two bilingual albums, Ojo de Tiburon and Luna Roja.

In addition to her notable early roles, Greene has appeared in popular series such as CSI, Cold Case, Nip/Tuck, Stargate SG-1, and Bones. She also had a recurring role as a TV reporter on HBO's Big Love and portrayed the governor of California in an episode of Brothers and Sisters in 2009.
