Matěj Hádek

Matěj Hádek is recognized as one of the most prominent talents of the younger generation of Czech actors. His breakout role came in 1997 when he portrayed Tédy in Ivan Vojnář's film *Cesta pustým lesem*. Throughout his career, Hádek has brought to life a variety of intriguing characters in television films, including *Malovaný děti*, *Pátek čtrnáctého*, and *Z rodinného alba*. Among his personal favorites is the role of Pajda in Jiří Svoboda's *Udělení milosti se zamítá*, as well as his unforgettable performance as a young "hooligan" in *Non Plus Ultras*.

Though he is often confused with his younger brother Kryštof, known for his role in *Tmavomodrém světě*, Matěj is the elder of the two and has a wealth of experience as an actor. He graduated from the State Conservatory in Prague and has performed in various esteemed theaters, including the Vinohrady Theatre, Kašpar Theatre, F. X. Šalda Theatre in Liberec, and the East Bohemian Theatre in Pardubice.

His filmography also includes notable works such as *Elixír a Halíbela*, *Vetřelci v Coloradu*, *Mazaný Filip*, and the series *Dobrá čtvrť*. A significant role includes Knapp in *Maharal - Tajemství talismanu* and a soldier named Zrzka in *Tobruk*. Currently, audiences can catch him in the theatrical production *Cizinci ve vlaku* at the Švandovo Theatre, alongside performances in *Maškaráda*, *Její Pastorkyni*, and *Brýle Eltona Johna*. Additionally, he lent his voice to the character Kuba in the first 3D animated film *Kozí příběh - pověsti Staré
