Aric Floyd
Aric Generette Floyd is an accomplished actor recognized for his roles in "Underdogs" (2013) and "Criminal Activities" (2015). Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, Aric grew up in a family deeply rooted in music, which sparked his interest in the performing arts at a young age. He commenced his journey at just five years old, training as a classical pianist and composer. This musical foundation naturally drew him towards musical theater, where he frequently showcased his talents alongside his sister, Alexis Floyd, a graduate of Carnegie Mellon School of Drama, in various local performances.
As a child actor known for his exceptional maturity, Aric shifted away from musicals to take on a significant role in the touring production of "A Raisin in the Sun" during the 2008-2009 season. His transition to film came in 2013 with his debut as the quirky character Jamal Lee in Fallout Entertainment's "Underdogs," a project that also marked Aric's first foray into film composition, as he created two original instrumental pieces for the film's soundtrack.
After a two-year hiatus from feature films, during which he excelled academically and earned a scholarship to the American Shakespeare Center for his performance in the 2013 ESU National Shakespeare Competition, Aric wrapped up filming "Criminal Activities" in 2014. Shortly after graduating high school, he decided to postpone his admission to Stanford University to fully dedicate himself to his acting career in Los Angeles, California.
