Köksal Engür

Köksal Engür is a distinguished Turkish actor known for his work in theater, film, television, and voice acting. His career took off in 1956 when he engaged in short radio plays for the TRT Ankara Radio's Children's Hour. He honed his craft at Ankara University, graduating from the Department of Theater in 1969.

Throughout his career, Engür has participated in numerous theatrical productions, showcasing his talent in various esteemed theaters such as Ankara Halkevi, Sahne 9, and Ali Poyrazoğlu Theater. He has also made significant contributions to the Bakırköy Municipal Theater and the State Opera and Ballet. Beyond the stage, Engür's prowess in voice acting has been particularly noteworthy; he has lent his voice to iconic characters such as Squidward in the animated series "SpongeBob SquarePants," and Büdü on "Sesame Street."
