Andy Gray

Andy Gray was a talented Scottish actor and writer hailing from Perth, Scotland. Throughout his career, he captivated audiences on both stage and screen, earning recognition for his memorable performances in popular television series such as the BBC's *Naked Video*, *City Lights*, and *River City*. Gray's contributions to the entertainment industry spanned decades, showcasing his versatility and dedication to his craft.

In August 2018, Gray faced a significant health challenge when he was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndromes, a bone marrow disorder. He bravely underwent chemotherapy and later received a bone marrow transplant from one of his sisters, demonstrating his resilience and determination. Sadly, in December 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Gray contracted the virus. Despite the medical interventions, he succumbed to complications associated with COVID-19 and passed away in intensive care on January 18, 2021, at the age of 61.

Gray's legacy lives on through his impressive body of work and the impact he made on both viewers and fellow artists alike. His passion for performance and storytelling has left an indelible mark in the world of entertainment, making him a cherished figure in Scottish culture.
