Robin Douglas Leach (August 29, 1941 – August 24, 2018) was a prominent British entertainment journalist, writer, columnist, and television personality renowned for his engaging style and distinctive British accent. Leach launched his career in journalism at the young age of 15, reporting for the Harrow Observer. By 18, he was making headlines as the youngest "Page One" reporter for the Daily Mail. In 1963, he relocated to the United States, where he continued to build his reputation, contributing to notable publications like the New York Daily News, People, and Ladies' Home Journal.

His breakout moment came as the host of the hit television series Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, which aired from 1984 to 1995. The show captivated audiences with its lavish glimpses into the lives of celebrities, showcasing their extravagant homes and lifestyles. Leach's charisma earned him a place in television history, alongside notable projects such as Madonna Exposed and several spinoffs of Lifestyles, including Runaway with the Rich and Famous.

Beyond his television work, Leach contributed to various platforms, including AM Los Angeles and Entertainment Tonight. He became a familiar face in Las Vegas, where he wrote for the Las Vegas Sun and later the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
