Rachel Amanda
Rachel Amanda Aurora, born on January 1, 1995, is a talented actress and singer from Indonesia. She embarked on her acting journey in 2001, landing her first significant role in the soap opera "Candy" in 2007. Over the years, Amanda has appeared in various soap operas, including "Lia," "Tersanjung Season 6," "Nirmala," "Papaku Keren-Keren," "Pintu Hidayah," "Soleha," "Doa dan Karunia," and "Indra Keenam."
In 2005, she stepped into the music scene with a contribution to the compilation album "Indonesia Menangis," featuring the hit single "Indonesia Jangan Bersedih." Her musical talent earned her the title of "Best Children Female Solo Artist" at the 2005 Anugerah Musik Indonesia. In June 2009, she partnered with the renowned religious singer, Opick, to perform "Maha Melihat."
Amanda made her cinematic debut in 2006 with roles in "Heart" and "I Love You, Om...," where she portrayed young Rachel. For her performance as Dion in "I Love You, Om...," she received a nomination for "Breakthrough Actor/Actress" at the 2007 MTV Indonesia Movie Awards.
After taking a break for a year in 2016, she returned to the entertainment industry and, since 2017, has been actively involved in short films, feature films, and television series. Some of her recent notable films include "Terlalu Tampan" (2019), "Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini" (2020), the short film "We" (2021), and "Mencuri Raden Saleh" (2022).
