Kevin Heffernan, born on May 25, 1968, is an American actor, writer, producer, and director, widely recognized as a member of the comedy troupe Broken Lizard.

Heffernan hails from West Haven, Connecticut. He completed his high school education at Fairfield College Preparatory School before attending Colgate University, where he was involved in the comedy group Charred Goosebeak alongside his fellow Broken Lizard members and was active in the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. He later earned his Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School. Heffernan is particularly famous for portraying the character Rod Farva, a Vermont State Trooper, in the cult classic film Super Troopers. He also played notable roles as Landfill and Gil in Beerfest and appeared as "Sheev" in the Dukes of Hazzard movie.

In addition to his film work, Heffernan has made guest appearances on popular television shows, including How I Met Your Mother, specifically the episode titled "I'm Not That Guy," as well as Curb Your Enthusiasm and Arrested Development. His contributions to comedy and film have made him a recognizable figure in the entertainment industry.
