A.J. Bernardo

Alvaro Lages "AJ" Bernardo Jr. was born on May 26, 1999, in the quiet suburb of Newington, Connecticut. From a young age, AJ developed a deep passion for professional wrestling, which dominated his childhood and teenage years. His journey took a significant turn in February 2014 when he attended an independent wrestling event and crossed paths with David Gere, a well-known actor and producer who would later become his mentor. Through his wrestling connections, AJ collaborated with David on various independent wrestling events, while David opened the door for AJ into the film industry.

In January 2015, AJ stepped onto a movie set for the first time while working on 'The Assault.' His formal entry into the film industry began in the summer of 2015 when he took on the role of Production Assistant for 'The Getter.' After appearing as an extra in several films, AJ secured his first speaking part as Cal in 'Blood Circus' in early 2016. As of summer and fall 2021, he had multiple acting projects in the pipeline, including a significant role as Ricky in 'Jungle Room.'

In addition to acting, AJ is a professional wrestler who trained under the esteemed Paul Roma. He made his wrestling debut in August 2016 as Zane Bernardo. As part of the tag team inZanely Rude alongside RJ Rude, AJ gained recognition in the Northeast Tag division, culminating in a notable overseas tour with LDN Wrestling in May and June of 2019.
