Babil Khan, an emerging talent in the Indian film industry, is making waves with his impressive acting skills and strong screen presence. Born to the iconic late actor Irrfan Khan and screenwriter-producer Sutapa Sikdar, Babil carries on the legacy of a family deeply rooted in cinema.
Irrfan Khan, his father, was an esteemed figure in Bollywood, known for his powerful performances in films like "Slumdog Millionaire" (2008) and "Life of Pi" (2012), which showcased his versatility and earned him international acclaim.
Babil completed his early education at Tridha School in Mumbai before pursuing higher studies at the University of Westminster in London. He began his career in the film industry as a camera assistant on the 2017 film "Qarib Qarib Single," which laid the groundwork for his future endeavors.
His acting debut arrived with the web series "The Railway Men: The Untold Story of Bhopal 1984" (2023), where he starred alongside notable actors such as Divyendu Sharma, Kay Kay Menon, and Madhavan.
