George Leonard Carey, known as Baron Carey of Clifton, is a former Anglican bishop who served as the Archbishop of Canterbury from 1991 until 2002. Before this prominent role, he held the position of Bishop of Bath and Wells. In addition to his ecclesiastical duties, Carey is a member of the Privy Council and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA).
