Parker Charles William Young was born in Tucson, Arizona, to Karl and Zarina Young, where he grew up as the eldest of three siblings. His childhood was filled with outdoor activities, including sports, rock climbing, and paintballing, amid the picturesque backdrop of the Sonoran Desert. Football took center stage during his high school years; he joined the Varsity team as a sophomore and ultimately became captain by his senior year.

Parker's introduction to the performing arts came unexpectedly during his junior year when he participated in a one-act play, a pivotal moment that ignited his passion for acting. This experience, coupled with encouragement from his drama teacher, led him to pursue acting seriously, even as he balanced theater commitments with football practices.

After graduating, Parker made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles to follow his dreams in entertainment, opting to forgo college in favor of immersing himself in the industry. His breakthrough role came when he portrayed "Ryan Shay" on ABC's popular series Suburgatory, showcasing his comedic talent as the energetic neighbor to Jeremy Sisto. He later starred in the Fox comedy Enlisted as one of three brothers serving in the US Army, a role that received critical acclaim.

In addition to his television work, Parker appeared in the Flower Films production Animal and the indie film Fourth Man Out. Now residing in Los Angeles, he maintains an active lifestyle through rock climbing, Krav Maga, and yoga, while finding time for leisure activities like motorcycling, reading, and camping in nature's embrace.
