Diane Hsu
Diane Lee Hsu, born to Chinese immigrant parents, began her journey in the world of music as a classically trained pianist at the tender age of six. By 17, she was already captivating audiences as a performer with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. After enrolling at the University of Utah to study modern dance, Diane's career took an unexpected turn when she entered the world of modeling. This new path led her to a casting call for Playboy Magazine, where she made history as the third Playmate of Asian descent, gracing the cover as Playmate of the Month in May 1988 under the name Diana Lee.
Hsu's transition from modeling to acting was seamless, marking her film debut in the iconic James Bond movie License to Kill (1989) as Loti, a Hong Kong narcotics agent. She also contributed to the film's memorable opening title sequence as one of the silhouette models. Her acting career flourished with a semi-recurring role on the popular soap opera The Young and the Restless, as well as guest appearances on beloved television series such as Family Matters and The West Wing.
