Elena Lev, born in Moscow, Russia, in 1981, embarked on her journey in rhythmic gymnastics at a young age, receiving guidance and support from her mother, Elena Lev Senior. She quickly made a name for herself with a unique hula hoop routine that combined elements of gymnastics and contortion, captivating audiences with her artistry.

Elena's career took a significant turn when she was invited to join the renowned Alegría touring company of Cirque du Soleil, where she showcased her exceptional talent from 1994 to 2000. Her time with Cirque du Soleil marked a period of immense growth and recognition, as she became a standout performer. In 2002, she also had a brief stint with the Quidam troupe, further diversifying her experience in the world of circus arts.

One of her notable performances occurred at the WaMu Theater in Madison Square Garden, where she was featured in Cirque du Soleil's Wintuk, enchanting audiences in the heart of New York City.
