Anne Kasprik
Anne Kasprik, born and raised in East Berlin, was immersed in the world of film and theater from a young age, thanks to her father, a film director, and her mother, a photographer. Her passion for acting blossomed during her involvement in a high school drama group. Inspired by her father's career, she pursued a path in directing while honing her craft at GDR Television. Kasprik trained at the prestigious Ernst Busch Actors Academy, where her exceptional talent was quickly recognized, leading her to focus on acting.
Her debut in film came with the lead role in 'Einzug ins Paradies' (1982/83), marking the beginning of a prolific career in East German cinema. She became a familiar face in productions from Defa and GDR Television, featuring in popular series such as 'Staatsanwalt' and 'Polizeiruf 110,' often collaborating with esteemed directors like Manfred Mosblech and even her father.
After the reunification of Germany, Kasprik continued to excel, starring as the female lead in Vadim Glowna's film 'Eines Tages Irgendwann.' Her filmography expanded to include critically acclaimed works like 'Barmherzige Schwestern' and the four-part ZDF feature 'Das Eureka-Projekt.' She was a key member of the cast in RTL's 'Berlin Abschnitt 40,' which received accolades as Best European Fictional Series in Monaco from 2004 to 2006. Kasprik's international career took off with roles in 'Troublemakers' alongside Bud Spencer and Terence Hill, and she has consistently appeared in numerous German television series, including 'SOKO Leipzig' and 'Medicopter,' solidifying her status as a beloved figure in the industry.
