Nancy Friedrich
Nancy Friedrich is an accomplished actress and writer known for her diverse roles in television and theater. She has made notable appearances in Amazon's *Homecoming*, Hulu's *Pen15*, and NBC's *A.P. Bio*. Her recurring roles include parts in Comedy Central’s *Another Period* and NBC’s *A to Z*, and she is set to appear in the upcoming series *Mrs. Davis*.
Before her move to Los Angeles, Nancy honed her craft in Chicago, where she received critical acclaim for her performances. She earned a Jeff Award nomination for Lead Actress for her portrayal of Jennifer in *The Dastardly Ficus and Other Tales of Woe and Misery* and won a Jeff Award for Supporting Actress for her role as Mary Warren in *The Crucible*. In addition to acting, she showcased her comedic talents with her sketch group Pennybear and performed improv at venues like iO Chicago with Virgin Daquiri and at The Annoyance with In a World. At The Annoyance, she co-wrote and starred in the two-person comedy *Waiting for Drew Peterson*.
Since relocating to Los Angeles, Nancy has taken the stage at various comedy shows, including Hot Tub with Kurt and Kristen and Andy Kindler’s Particular Show. She has also made her mark in short films, co-writing and directing *Nadine*, which won Best Direction for a Comedy Short at the 2019 Central States Indie Fan Film Festival. An avid runner, Nancy has humorously noted her tendency to trip on the streets of Los Feliz.
