Trace Adkins
Tracy Darrell "Trace" Adkins, born on January 13, 1962, is a prominent American country music singer and songwriter. He burst onto the music scene in 1996 with his debut album, *Dreamin' Out Loud*, under Capitol Records Nashville. Over his illustrious career, Adkins has released eight studio albums and two greatest hits collections, amassing over twenty charted singles on the Billboard country music charts. Among his notable Number One hits are "(This Ain't) No Thinkin' Thing," "Ladies Love Country Boys," and "You're Gonna Miss This," which reached the top positions in 1997, 2007, and 2008, respectively. Additionally, "I Left Something Turned on at Home" topped Canada's country chart. Remarkably, every studio album, except one, has achieved gold or platinum status in the U.S., with his highest-selling work being *Songs About Me*, certified 2× Multi-Platinum for exceeding two million copies sold.
Beyond music, Adkins has made numerous television appearances, including roles as a panelist on game shows like *Hollywood Squares* and *Pyramid*, competing as a finalist on *The Celebrity Apprentice*, and voicing the recurring character Elvin on *King of the Hill*. He also lent his voice to commercials for KFC. In 2007, he published his autobiography, *A Personal Stand: Observations and Opinions from a Free-Thinking Roughneck*, offering insights into his life and career.
