Terence Lee Cover was born in 1983 in the small village of Mount Gilead, Ohio. Despite his rural upbringing, Terence discovered a passion for filmmaking during high school while engaging in various video projects. At 18, he left home, entered into marriage, and took on the role of manager at a local movie theater in a nearby town. However, by the age of 21, after a divorce and a shift in his career path, he decided to pursue his true calling by enrolling in film school.

Terence attended The Motion Picture Institute of Michigan, making a grueling seven-hour round trip three times a week from Ohio. To fund his first short film, "An Exercise In Narcissism," he worked at a small ice cream shop in Mount Gilead. Upon graduating in September 2005, he relocated to Michigan to embark on his filmmaking career.

Over the years, Terence has contributed to a diverse array of films, ranging from low-budget horror shorts shot on VHS to multi-hundred-thousand-dollar feature films filmed on 35mm. He has also gained experience as a casting production assistant for reality television shows in the Detroit area. His multifaceted roles in the industry have spanned from production assistant to director.

While primarily known as an editor, his debut film "An Exercise In Narcissism" has garnered attention at festivals worldwide, including in Berlin, Germany. In addition to his filmmaking accolades, Terence is a published poet and an accomplished sculptor, with works showcased in various galleries throughout Detroit.
