Yvonne Constant (1930 – 28 February 2023) was a celebrated French actress, singer, and ballet dancer known for her versatility and charm. She began her career performing in cabarets across New York, various U.S. cities, and Europe, showcasing her remarkable vocal talent. In 2008 and 2009, she graced the stage of the Metropolitan Room in New York City for 14 performances, earning praise from cabaret critic William Wolf. Her shows were skillfully produced by Jan Wallman, directed by the renowned choreographer Molly Molloy, with musical direction by Russ Kassoff.

In 2007, Constant captivated audiences with her rendition of "Ah Paris" during the City Center revival of *Follies*. Her Broadway career was marked by notable achievements, including a special Tony Award for her role in *La Plume de Ma Tante* and a New York Drama Critics Citation for her performance in *The Gay Life*, alongside Barbara Cook. Over the years, she made 45 appearances on *The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson*, where she caught the eye of Richard Rodgers, who cast her in *No Strings*. Additionally, she played the French au pair in the Broadway comedy *Come Live with Me*.

One of her most memorable roles was in Disney's *Monkeys, Go Home!*, where she starred alongside Maurice Chevalier. In the mini-series *Sins*, she portrayed Annette, a singer, sharing the screen with Joan Collins. Honored by the French Government as Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres, Yvonne Constant left a lasting legacy in the performing arts. She passed away on 28 February 2023, at the age of 92.
