In the 1970s and 1980s, Roy transitioned into television post-production, where he made significant contributions while working for CBC in both London and Toronto. His expertise led him to establish and manage several prominent post-production studios in Soho, solidifying his reputation in the industry.
Since 1987, Roy has been happily married to TV Producer Nickie Stevens, and together they have raised three children, each carving out successful careers in the television realm. Their son James specializes in special effects for TV and film, Clementine excels in production for advertising agencies, and Jonny has made a name for himself as a Music Producer.
