Ophélie Winter, born Ophélie Kleerekoper-Winter on February 20, 1974, in Boulogne-Billancourt, Hauts-de-Seine, is a celebrated French pop and R&B singer and actress. As the daughter of Dutch pop artist David Alexandre Winter and French model Catherine Fefeu, she was immersed in the arts from a young age. She gained widespread recognition in Europe after signing with EastWest Records in 1995, launching her career with the chart-topping single "Dieu m'a donné la foi." Other notable tracks include "Le feu qui m'attise," "Shame on U," "Elle Pleure," and "Sache."

Winter's early life was marked by her parents' divorce when she was just two, leading her to relocate to Paris with her mother and brother, Michael, who is also in the entertainment industry. Her musical journey began at age 10 with her first recording, and by 17, she was discovered as a model. After a brief modeling career, she transitioned to music and acting.

Throughout her career, Winter has produced four studio albums, starting with her debut, *No Soucy!*, in 1996. Notably, music legend Prince wrote a song for her, which was part of a project to record "The Most Beautiful Girl In The World" in multiple languages, though her version remains unreleased.

In 2014, she showcased her dance skills on *Danse avec les stars*, the French adaptation of *Dancing with the Stars*, finishing 10th. Today, Winter continues to reside in Paris, making various television appearances, including a puppet likeness on the show "Les Guignols de l'info."
