Ania Marson

Ania Marson is a talented Anglo-Polish actress known for her diverse roles across film and television. Born on May 22, 1949, in Gdynia, Poland, she honed her craft at the Corona Stage Academy before embarking on her acting career.

Marson made her television debut in 1963 with a role in the series *Dixon of Dock Green*, followed by notable appearances in *The Troubleshooters* (1968) and *Detective* (1969). Her film career began to flourish in the 1970s, highlighted by her portrayal of Grand Duchess Olga Nikolaevna in the acclaimed historical drama *Nicholas and Alexandra* (1971). She also featured in *Puppet on a Chain* (1971), *Emma* (1972), *The Abdication* (1974), and the iconic sci-fi series *Blake's 7* (1978).

After a hiatus from the screen, Marson returned to acting in 2011, performing as Diana in *Home Death* at the Finborough Theatre, under the direction of Fiona Morrell. She re-emerged in the television landscape in 2015, taking on the role of Olga Kowalski in an episode of *Foyle's War*.

In 2021, Marson captivated audiences as Voleth Meir, also known as 'the Deathless Mother,' in Netflix's fantasy series *The Witcher*.
