Alana de la Garza
Alana de la Garza, born on June 18, 1976, in Columbus, Ohio, is a distinguished American actress known for her impactful roles across television and film. She spent her formative years in Texas, where she pursued her education at the University of Texas. Following her graduation, Alana ventured to Orlando, Florida, where she began her career in independent films and commercials. Her passion for acting led her to New York City, where she honed her craft under the guidance of acclaimed acting teacher JoAnna Beckson.
Alana’s breakthrough came with her portrayal of Rosa Santos on the long-running soap opera All My Children, which paved the way for her move to Los Angeles. There, she secured numerous guest roles, including a memorable performance as a con artist on the popular series Las Vegas. Her subsequent work included a leading role in the WB drama The Mountain and a part in the romantic comedy Mr. Fix It alongside David Boreanaz, as well as appearances on CSI: Miami.
In June 2006, Alana joined the iconic cast of Law & Order, where she made a significant impact over several seasons before transitioning to Law & Order: LA. Her versatility continued to shine in series such as Do No Harm, Forever, and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.
