Shari Eubank
Shari Eubank, born on June 12, 1947, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is best remembered as a notable find of director Russ Meyer, despite her brief foray into the film industry. Growing up in a family with a rich history, Shari's father, Joe Eubank, was a Navy Seabee who played a role in the Manhattan Project after the family relocated to Los Alamos, New Mexico, in 1942. Later, they moved to Farmer City, Illinois, where Joe transitioned to farming.
Shari attended Farmer City High School, where she excelled as a cheerleader and was crowned homecoming queen upon her graduation in 1965. She furthered her education at Illinois Wesleyan University, actively participating in the Masquers, a student drama group, which sparked her passion for performance. Following her academic pursuits, Shari embarked on a career in modeling and acting, landing a prominent role in Meyer’s cult classic "Super Vixens," which showcased her unique talents and charisma.
Despite only appearing in two films, Eubank left a lasting impact on the cinematic landscape. Her contributions to the genre, particularly through her collaboration with Meyer, continue to resonate with fans of cult cinema, cementing her legacy in the realm of 1970s filmmaking.
