Kev Adams, born Kevin Smadja on July 1, 1991, is a prominent French comedian, actor, humorist, screenwriter, and film producer. Hailing from the 16th district of Paris, he grew up in a family with diverse roots; his father is an Algerian Jew working as a real estate agent, while his mother, who is of Tunisian Jewish descent, is employed in finance. Kev has two younger brothers, Noam and Lirone, and began exploring his passion for performance through theater classes at just seven years old.

In 2009, after completing his French Baccalaureate in literature, Adams enrolled in law at the University of Paris X-Nanterre, all while pursuing an acting career that he found challenging to balance. His big break came when he was discovered by producer Elisa Soussan, leading to his performance at the renowned Olympia during Anne Roumanoff's Carte Blanche show, which was broadcast on Paris Première. Adams soon opened for Gad Elmaleh at the Palais des Sports and launched his first one-man show, The Young Man Show, in 2009, which toured across France and concluded at the Paléo Festival de Nyon in Switzerland in 2012.

He gained popularity as a contestant on the TV show On n'demande qu'à en rire from September 2010 to February 2011 before focusing on the series Soda, which aired on M6. Notable film successes include Serial Teachers and The New Adventures of Aladdin. In 2018, he created the animated series Kev's World, where he also voiced himself. By May 2014, Adams had amassed a significant following on social media, with millions of fans across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
