Thea Trinidad

Thea Megan Trinidad, born on December 27, 1990, in Queens, New York, is a multifaceted entertainer known for her contributions to professional wrestling, acting, and charitable work. Raised by her parents, Monique and Michael Angel Trinidad, along with her younger brother Timothy, Thea developed a passion for wrestling while watching matches with her family. Tragically, her father was killed in the September 11 attacks when she was just ten years old, a loss that deeply impacted her life.

Following this event, Thea's family relocated to Centereach, Long Island, where she honed her skills in dance, singing, and acting. She took part in various dance styles including ballet, jazz, and hip-hop, and achieved recognition in step competitions during high school. Additionally, she served as a counselor at Camp Haze, a retreat for children affected by 9/11, and engaged in various charitable initiatives, including work with Habitat for Humanity and breast cancer research.

At 17, Thea shifted her focus to wrestling, training under notable figures like Amazing Red and Sarita. Her dedication led to her signing with TNA iMPACT Wrestling in January 2011 after being discovered by Tommy Dreamer. Thea's accomplishments include roles in films such as *The Witches of Oz* and *Self Storage*, and she has been featured in prominent publications like Pro Wrestling Illustrated and USA Today. Furthermore, she was recognized as one of the top female wrestlers in PWI and co-hosted Busted Open Radio on Sirius XM. Thea also participated in the poignant documentary *Children of 9/11*, marking her commitment to honoring her father's memory and supporting fellow survivors.
