The studio not only specialized in producing films but also ventured into distribution, managing theatrical releases and television sales, as well as offering electronic post-production services. This innovative approach ultimately led to Allegro's merger with Coscient Group, a publicly traded entity that is now part of Quebecor.

In 2001, Berry founded Premiere Bobine in Montreal, focusing on the production, development, financing, and distribution of feature-length films for various platforms, including television and theaters. Beyond his producing endeavors, he has played a vital role in the industry as a former Chairman of the Canadian Film and Television Production Association, actively engaging in industry advocacy and initiatives.
