Efrat Dor
Efrat Dor, an accomplished actress, was born on January 6, 1983, in Beersheba, Israel. Growing up in a family with three brothers, she developed a passion for performance early on. Standing at 5'4½" (1.64 m), Dor has made a name for herself in both film and television, with notable appearances in "The Zookeeper's Wife" (2017), "Mayans M.C." (2018), and the film "Holy Lands."
Her journey in acting began with formal training at the Lee Strasberg School of Acting in New York in 2001, followed by studies at the Beit Zvi School of Performing Arts, which she entered in 2003. Dor gained early experience through supporting roles in various television series, including "Maybe This Time" and "Ha-Chaim Ze Lo Hacol" from 2006 to 2009. She showcased her talent in the fringe production "Tavo Nahra" at the Acre Festival in 2007.
Dor's breakout role came in 2010 when she portrayed "Shir" in the popular daily drama "Asfur." That same year, she also served as a fashion designer for Ronen Chen for two seasons. In 2011, she starred as policewoman Alexandra Yudaiov in the series "Downtown Precinct," which premiered on Channel 10. Her remarkable performance in the 2013 film "Cupcakes," directed by Eytan Fox, further solidified her status as a leading actress. Efrat Dor is married to Moshik Maimon, and they share a daughter.
