Damla Sönmez

Damla Sönmez, a talented actress hailing from Istanbul, Turkey, has captivated audiences with her remarkable performances and dedication to the craft of acting. Fluent in Turkish, English, and French, Sönmez has made a significant mark in the international film scene. Her passion for cinema ignited at a young age, and she quickly became an award-winning figure in the industry.

Sönmez's career took off with her notable role in the film *Bornova Bornova* (2009), earning her multiple accolades, including the prestigious Antalya Golden Orange Award and the Ankara Flying Broom Women's Film Festival Award. Her performance also garnered a nomination for the Sadri Alisik Theatre & Movie Award. She further showcased her acting prowess in *Mahpeyker - Kösem Sultan* (2010), which earned her a nomination for The Young Talent Award at the Yesilcam Movie Awards.

Following her graduation from Saint Joseph French High School, Sönmez honed her skills at the Université de La Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris III before receiving a scholarship to study at Yeditepe University's Fine Arts Theatre Department in Istanbul.
