Leajato Amara Robinson

**Leajato Amara Robinson** is an accomplished artist with a diverse background in music, dance, and theater. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the prestigious Juilliard School and is a proud alumnus of the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan. Robinson's artistic journey began with music, eventually evolving into dance, where he honed his craft at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music and the Milwaukee Ballet School. By the age of sixteen, he was already making a name for himself as both a choreographer and performer, contributing to summer programs and benefit concerts under the guidance of his mentor, Michael J. Kalinyen.

His extensive training in theater and film included studies with notable figures such as Terry Schreiber and Christopher Carter Sanderson. Robinson's television credits feature prominent roles in series like “BULL,” “MANIFEST,” “The Punisher,” “Homeland,” and “Orange is the New Black.” His portrayal of Macbeth in a feature film adaptation garnered him the "Dramatic Performance of the Year" award from the Young-Howze Theater Journal Awards.

In the realm of dance, Robinson has toured both nationally and internationally with esteemed companies such as the Paul Taylor Dance Company and Elisa Monte Dance. He has graced stages at Long Wharf Theater, North Shore Music Theater, and numerous regional theaters, showcasing his talents as an actor, dancer, and musician. Additionally, he has produced several Off-Broadway shows, including “The Sh-ames (Shakespeare Games)” and "Lullaby," highlighting his skills in vocal performance and music composition.
