Shawn Lee

Shawn Lee Chuang Rui, born on February 11, 1990, is a well-known actor hailing from Singapore. He gained significant recognition for his remarkable performances in the popular films "I Not Stupid" and its sequel, "I Not Stupid Too," where he starred alongside his friend Joshua Ang.

Lee was among the few child actors who successfully secured lead roles in Jack Neo's acclaimed film "I Not Stupid," which propelled him into the spotlight. His role in the series adaptation of the film earned him a nomination for the Best Young Talent award at the 2002 Star Awards, a category he triumphed in alongside his co-stars Joshua Ang and Eric Huang. In 2007, Lee decided to step back from acting to focus on completing his 'A' Levels, marking a brief hiatus from the entertainment scene.
