Anni-Frid Lyngstad

Anni-Frid Synni Princess Reuss of Plauen, commonly known as Frida Lyngstad or simply Frida, is a renowned pop and jazz vocalist hailing from Norway. Born to a Norwegian mother and a German father, she spent much of her childhood in Sweden, where her musical journey began to take shape. Frida rose to international fame as a key member of the iconic pop group ABBA, which dominated the music scene from 1972 until their split in 1982. During her time with ABBA, the group produced numerous chart-topping hits, establishing themselves as one of the best-selling music acts in history.

Following the disbandment of ABBA, Frida ventured into a solo career, although her success in this realm varied. Notable works from her solo endeavors include albums such as "Something's Going On" (1982) and "Shine" (1996), showcasing her versatility as an artist. In 1997, she released her last album before stepping back from the music industry.
